No source reports the figures 384 deputies or 300 Jews. The sources that quote Wilton's lists give different counts for different bodies (556 functionaries with 457 Jews; a 62-member Central Executive Committee with 41 Jews), so the claimed figures can't be confirmed or cleanly refuted.

What was said

… But, you know, you had someone like Montgomery Schindler, captain in the Army, American Army, said in a telegram, he said that Russian Jews dominate Soviet Marxism, and the correspondent for the London Times, the very well-known Robert Wilton, who wrote The Last Days of the Romanovs in 1920, actually lists all their names, and in the Soviet there were 384 Bolshevik deputies, and about 300 were Jews, and the same thing for their so-called opposition. The Petrograd Soviet had almost 300 people, and 271 were Jews, and of that 271, 265 were brought by Krochsky from Brooklyn, um, and he arrived with, you know, Wall Street millions. …

What we found

Contradicts. Quotations of Wilton's book give 556 important Bolshevik functionaries in 1918-19, of whom 457 were Jews, not 384 deputies with 300 Jews.[2][3]

Context. Wilton's list of the 62-member Soviet Central Executive Committee reports 41 Jews, and the 22-member Sovnarkom reports 17, figures that do not match the claimed 384/300.[2][4]

Context. Reed reports that the French edition of Wilton's book reprinted the official Bolshevik lists, while Der Stuermer says the American and British 1920 editions did not include them, so which edition contains which figures is itself disputed.[2][5]

Context. No fact-checker has rated this specific claim, and the sources that quote the book are antisemitic reproductions with low credibility, so they do not establish what the book states.[1][2][3]
