The UCP convention (AGM) is scheduled for Nov. 27–29, 2026 in Calgary per the party's official events page and CTV, and CBC describes it as held Nov. 27 and 28, so November 28 is a scheduled convention date. The sources differ only on whether it ends on the 28th or the 29th, which does not affect the claim.

What we found

Supports. The UCP's official events page gives the 2026 AGM as November 27–29, 2026 in Calgary, which includes November 28.[1]

Supports. CTV News reports the UCP's Nov. 27–29 convention at the BMO Centre in Calgary, and a headtopics report gives the same Nov. 27 to 29 window.[2][4]

Supports. CBC reports that the convention is being held Nov. 27 and 28 in Calgary, with more than 6,000 members registered.[3]

Context. The sources differ on the closing day (28th vs. 29th), but every source places the convention on November 28, so the discrepancy does not contradict the claim.[1][2][3][4]
