The sources do not support Ford building a truck plant near Kharkiv. The Kharkiv factory was a Soviet tractor plant designed by Ford's architect Albert Kahn, while Ford's truck-plant agreement concerned Nizhny Novgorod. The extracted claim also drops the post's 'largest truck plant in the world' superlative, which the sources do not corroborate either.

… The two that I use all the time is GE for the electrification, which was a Stolidest thing. You had a major mining company in Alaska, whose name I can't remember off the top of my head, who laid out their mining was very important in the Ural Mountains. Henry Ford built the largest truck plant in the world near Kharkiv, in the extreme eastern Ukraine. And, as Sutton lays out, you have the weapons manufacturers in Germany, in Britain, and in the U.S. Building their army. It all comes from the West. What we found

Contradicts. The Kharkiv Tractor Factory was a single tractor factory contracted by the Soviet government (VSNKh) from Albert Kahn's firm, not a Ford-built plant, and it was designed to produce tractors rather than trucks.[1][2]

Contradicts. Ford's truck-related technical assistance agreement with the Soviets (Model A and AA light trucks) concerned a plant to be built at Nizhny Novgorod (Gorky), not Kharkiv.[3][4]

Context. Kharkiv factories were described as designed to rival Ford's American plants, and Kahn's firm designed dozens of factories in eastern Ukraine, which shows a Ford-linked design connection but not a Ford-built truck plant.[5][6]

Context. No source states that Ford built the largest truck plant in the world near Kharkiv, so the post's superlative is uncorroborated.[1][3][4][7]
