The sources show the British and many commentators labeled the Irgun a terrorist organization in the 1940s, but none states that the Irgun itself called itself a terrorist organization. What we found

Context. Multiple sources (FPIF, Wikipedia, Study.com, AcademiaLab, IMEU) say the British government or others labeled the Irgun a terrorist organization, which is a different thing from self-identification.[1][2][3][4][5]

Context. The Daily Beast says some radical Zionist factions 'openly described themselves as terrorists,' but its explicit self-description statement is about Lehi, the splinter group, not the Irgun.[6]

Context. Wikipedia says Irgun militants 'called themselves Havlagah breakers,' a self-description that is not 'terrorist.' No source states the Irgun called itself a terrorist organization in the mid-1940s.[2]
