Read literally, the claim says the FBI has captured all ten entries currently on its Ten Most Wanted list, and sources contradict that, since the live list still showed ten entries including an uncaptured fugitive in August 2026.

This claim is about the present, so it is judged as of the day it was checked.

What was said

… We, the FBI, captured more than two and a half times the number of the top ten most wanted fugitives on the FBI's list from the prior administration. In fact, Mr. Chairman, I'm proud to announce today and I hate to correct you we haven't captured nine of the top ten most individuals on our list. We've captured ten. Just this past weekend, we captured a thug down in Venezuela who was on our most wanted list and on the run for years. Folks, is it it is what you voted for, right? I would i would hope so. I would hope so. …

What we found

Contradicts. A Newsweek report from 2026-08-16 says the FBI's live Ten Most Wanted page shows ten entries, including Gregory Henderson Jr., so the list was not cleared of uncaptured fugitives, which contradicts the literal reading that all ten listed fugitives were captured.[2]

Supports. A Fox-derived report dated 2026-10-28 says law enforcement apprehended 10 of the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted fugitives, 2.5 times the number captured over the previous four years, which supports the intended cumulative reading.[3]

Supports. The same Newsweek report quotes FBI Director Kash Patel in August 2026 saying nine Top Ten fugitives had been captured since Trump returned to office, so the tenth capture would have to come after mid-August and before or around the 2026-09-16 posting date for the claim to hold on that date.[2]

Context. The FBI's own official counts show 540 fugitives have appeared on the list and 501 have been apprehended or located since the program began, which is a cumulative figure and does not address whether the current ten entries are all captured.[1]
