Multiple reports of the October 14, 2026 Bullhead City rally quote Trump saying Katie Hobbs "is somebody that could not pass the test," and a transcript excerpt confirms it, so the claim that he made this assertion is supported.

This claim is about the present, so it is judged as of the day it was checked.

What we found

Supports. An APT video transcript of the rally quotes Trump: "But Katie Hobbs is somebody that could not pass the test. So I took them every time and I got them all right. I aced them."[4]

Supports. The Atlanta Black Star and AOL/CNN-based reports quote Trump saying of Hobbs, "Katie Hobbs is somebody that could not pass the test," tying the remark to his cognitive-test boasts at the Bullhead City rally.[5][6]

Supports. The Independent and Daily Beast reports, both published October 15, 2026, describe Trump opening his cognitive-test riff by attacking Hobbs and saying she could not pass the test.[7][8]

Context. The post's own passage says "the cognitive test he says she couldn't pass," so the extracted claim faithfully matches the post; no added figure or scope.

Context. The fact-check sources address Trump's own cognitive test results, not Hobbs's performance, so they neither confirm nor refute whether Hobbs could pass a test.[1][2][3]
