Supports. Multiple reports say the Yellow Vests announced more than 700 protests planned across France, with actions at roundabouts, gas stations, train stations and oil depots, per a map on their website.[1][2][3][4]
Supports. Coverage of the Saturday mobilisation repeats that organisers listed more than 700 planned actions nationwide, including around 500 demonstrations.[5]
Context. An earlier mobilisation on 17 October was listed at 1,756 actions, including 811 demonstrations, a different event and count from the 700 figure.[6]
Context. The sources date the 700-plus count to coverage from 24 October, after the 21 October post, so the sources do not directly show the count on the posted date. The post's "Sunday, maybe Saturday" wording is also not matched exactly, since the reported date is Saturday 24 October.[1][2][3]
