The claim's extraction faithfully reflects the post. Human cell-culture studies in the sources show C15:0 reducing oxidative stress and mitochondrial ROS, but none of them is a study in human subjects, and the ferroptosis link is not addressed.

… health and longevity, and the longevity nutrient is Fatty 15, discovered amazingly by a veterinarian who was responsible for the Navy's fleet of dolphins. Turns out dolphins are healthier when they have adequate amounts of pentadecanoic acid, which is C15. It also, for us, it helps humans as well, reduces the oxidative stress on our cell membranes, which is part of the aging process called ferroptosis. So she takes it, I take whole family takes it, and if you'd like some, go to drdrew.com slash fatty 15 for yours. There are discounts there. Oh my God, look, Drew, it's a dolphin. Oh my gosh. Supports. A primary-source review reports that in stressed human cell systems, C15:0 significantly reduced mitochondrial superoxide, with a maximal reduction of about 30% at around 20 μmol/L.[1]
Supports. A 2020 Nature study found that C15:0 lowered mitochondrial ROS production in serum-starved HepG2 human liver cells at several concentrations, compared with untreated controls.[2]
Supports. A study across 12 primary human cell-based disease systems reports that C15:0 was non-cytotoxic and had anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative activity, with greater protection against oxidative stress than EPA.[3]
Context. All the supporting evidence is in vitro cell work. The sources do not show a reduction in oxidative stress in human subjects, and they do not address ferroptosis or the claim that it is part of the aging process.[1][2][3]
