Supports. The Reader (Oct 19, 2026) reports drivers posted about empty pumps at stations in Omaha, Papillion and La Vista, including some Casey's and Sam's Club locations, and a Bellevue station said many stations were completely out of gas.[1]
Supports. WOWT/KSNB (Oct 19, 2026) reports a Sam's Club employee said that store was out of gas and viewers reported empty pumps at Casey's locations in West Omaha.[2]
Supports. Casey's acknowledged 'temporary fuel supply challenges affecting availability at some locations,' and NP Mart's CEO said half of its Omaha sites were out of fuel.[2][3]
Context. A later preparedstates.com review (Oct 28) says the outages are real but patchy, and a Yahoo/NewsBreak item reports some locals found no shortage; this does not contradict that stations were running out on Oct 22.[4][5]
