Donald Trump is stewing about elections big time. He raged at Senator Lisa Murkowski for opposing his dumb effort to rig the Alaska Senate race, fumed over imagined voter-fraud in the upcoming midterms, and seethed that the right’s huge loss in Brazil was “rigged.” …
Multiple sources show Trump publicly attacked Sen. Lisa Murkowski on Truth Social over her opposition to the DOJ lawsuit tied to the Alaska Senate race, calling her the Republicans' 'Worst Senator.' The claim's wording is a faithful, if vaguer, paraphrase of the post, which says Murkowski opposed Trump's effort; the mutual opposition is what the sources document.
This claim is in the show notes, the publisher's own words. It counts against the post, once.
What we found
Supports. The Hill reports Trump called Murkowski a 'disgrace' and attacked her over her criticism of the DOJ's lawsuit tied to the Alaska Senate election.[1]
Supports. Politico reports Murkowski condemned Trump's push to remove Peltola from the Senate ballot, placing the two in open opposition over the Alaska Senate race.[2]
Supports. Mediaite and Newsweek both report Trump 'raged at' and attacked Murkowski over her opposition to the DOJ lawsuit seeking to block certification of the Alaska Senate election.[3][4]
Context. Trump's public attacks on Murkowski are documented, but the sources also describe his claims that she wants Democrats to win as unsupported by evidence; this does not affect whether he opposed her.[3][5]
