Several sources put Germany's Jewish population in 1939 at roughly 202,000 to 215,000, so the claimed figure of about 200,215 is close to the record and within rounding of the end-of-1939 estimates.

The guest relays this claim without endorsing it. It counts as passed on, not against the post.

… Yeah, that's where we got our strategic bombing from. It's, bro, there's all kinds of lies that people have never dug into because they've just been fed the information and never looked into it. Yeah, yeah. Approximately what year are you talking about? Because you said in 1939 there were about two to 200,215 Jews. That was the year you're talking about? Yeah, '39. Yeah, yeah. So about when did you Google it? No, I Google it right now, but I'm saying, I'm saying that first Google, I just ah, it was an approximate. I think it gave me something else during the what was it? What we found

Supports. The Avalon Project's Anglo-American Committee appendix lists Germany's 1939 Jewish population as 'd 215,000', with a footnote saying it was reduced to around 215,000 by September 1939.[1]

Supports. USHMM reports that at the end of 1939 about 202,000 Jews remained in Germany, and the AJYB-based Berman DataBank gives 202,400 for the Old Reich on December 31, 1939.[2][3]

Context. Estimates vary with timing and territory: the May 1939 census shows about 222,000 Jews in the 1937-border Reich, while Holocaust.cz's 330,892 figure includes Austria and is not comparable.[4][5]
