The post says 'about hundred, 250,000 individual of partial Jewish descent,' so the extracted figure of approximately 150,000 departs from the passage. Independent sources (Yale 2002, Vanderbilt 2003) put the 150,000 figure on Jews and partial-Jews (Mischlinge) in the German military, but that is not the figure the post stated.

The guest relays this claim without endorsing it. It counts as passed on, not against the post.

What was said

… Mm-hmm. I bet you all didn't know that either, did you? I had no idea. That's news to me. No shit. Nobody talks about that. No shit. Now, is that in the, in that, is that in the, how many Jews fought on the side of Hitler's army? Uh It said about hundred, 250,000 individual of partial Jewish descent. And what was the total population of Jewish people in Germany during that time? About, uh, since about a million. So, 10% of all the Jews were actually fighting. I don't think it was a million. I think it was like 600,000. Yeah, I mean, you know, 600,000. …

What we found

Context. Historian Bryan Rigg's research, as reported by Yale (2002) and Vanderbilt (2003), estimates perhaps as many as 150,000 German military men were classified by the Nazis as Jews or partial-Jews (Mischlinge).[1][2]

Context. The 150,000 figure covers Jews and partial-Jews together, and the Jewish Journal review notes that most of those counted were partial (quarter or half) Jews rather than full Jews, so the scope differs from a count of partial-Jewish descent alone.[3]

Context. The claim's figure of 150,000 does not match the post's figure of 250,000, so the claim departs from the passage and the post itself did not make this claim.
