Achonelle Pierre was arrested by ICE and has a criminal history including attempted murder, two counts of assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, intent to injure, and reckless endangerment.

What we found

Supports. The DHS press release states that ICE officers arrested Actionel Pierre, a Haitian criminal illegal alien, in Wicomico County, Maryland, with a history including attempted murder, two counts of assault, possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, and reckless endangerment.[1]

Supports. WGMD and WMAR report the same arrest and the same offense list, attributing it to ICE and DHS statements.[2][3]

Supports. Yahoo's repost of the ICE statements repeats the same arrest and charge list, with the same wording as the DHS release.[4]

Context. Fox4 and VINnews list fewer offenses (omitting two counts of assault or the weapons charge), which is an omission rather than a contradiction of the fuller list.[5][6]

Context. The sources describe 'arrests for' these offenses, so 'criminal history' reflects DHS's framing; none of the sources reports convictions for them.[1]
