Supports. The court's sentencing text states: "This Court sentences Adolf Eichmann to death, for the crimes against the Jewish People, the crimes against humanity and the war crime of which he has been found guilty."[3]
Supports. The Holocaust Encyclopedia and the National WWII Museum both state that Eichmann was sentenced to death on December 15, 1961, by an Israeli court in Jerusalem.[4][5]
Supports. DW reports that the trial ended with Eichmann being sentenced to death for masterminding the "Final Solution", and World History and Britannica similarly report the death sentence.[6][7][8]
Context. The AP and Reuters sources describe Eichmann as hanged in 1962, which is consistent with a prior death sentence and does not contradict it.[1][2]
