The Parnas PerspectiveOct 26, 2026
Acton has repeatedly said she has been on the road for two and a half years. A September news report quotes her saying so, her October campaign post says the same, and a July profile says she has been working on a governor bid since mid-2023, which is consistent with that timeframe.

… I've spent my whole career trying to solve these wicked hard problems. How did it make you feel when the president essentially doubled down and gave your opponent carte blanche to continue doing this? You know, I've been on the road for two and a half years, and I've never been in a room it's never known party i've never been in a room where people don't tear up while I'm speaking. Supports. Signal Akron (Sept. 23, 2026) quotes Acton saying, 'I've been on the road literally for two and a half years.'[1]
Supports. Acton's own October 25, 2026 campaign post says 'Over the last two and a half years we've traveled everywhere in this state,' which repeats the claim but is not independent of it.[2]
Supports. A July 2026 USA Today Network report says that since mid-2023 Acton has given speeches and mounted a bid for Ohio governor, which fits a travel period of roughly two and a half years or more.[3]
Context. Her formal campaign launch was January 2025, so the two-and-a-half-year figure refers to the broader period of campaigning and speaking rather than the formal candidacy alone.[3][4]
