The claim that the US killed 160 schoolchildren in Yemen is not supported. The only sources citing 160 schoolchildren killed in a school strike place it in the US-Israeli strikes on Iran, and the Yemen-specific US casualty record counts about 50 children across 46 strikes, far below 160.

What was said

… Everyone knows someone who was murdered by Saudi Arabia, so they're ready to fight. They're ready to fight every single Iranian. They attended the funeral; they mourned those 160 school children that the United States blew up, and it was revealed that they had satellite imagery, so they knew exactly what they were targeting. So do you think Iran do you think, if you have every single reason to fight the United States, who knew someone who was sanctioned, knew someone who was infected by it who you think more motivated, those people or Billy, who just want to make his mama proud …

What we found

Contradicts. Mwatana's report on US airstrikes in Yemen (Dec 2023 to May 2025) documents 46 strikes causing at least 576 civilian casualties, including 50 children and 25 women. That is roughly a third of the claimed 160 children, across all US strikes in the period.[1][2]

Contradicts. A UN News report from September 2026 mentions a strike on a school that killed over 160 children, but places it within the US-Israeli attacks on Iran, not Yemen.[3]

Context. The one well-documented Yemen school-related incident in the sources is the August 2018 school bus strike, which killed about 40 children. CNN reported it was carried out by the Saudi-led coalition using a US-supplied bomb, not a direct US strike.[4][5][6]

Context. The extracted claim matches the post's own wording, so the question is the factual accuracy of the claim, not extraction fidelity.
