Contradicts. Reuters' fact-check says state law did not permit registration with no ID and only a resident vouching, as suggested in the undercover video, and that the video misrepresents the vouching law.[1]
Contradicts. Minnesota allows a registered voter in the same precinct to vouch for another voter, but the voter being vouched for must still provide a driver's license or ID number or the last four digits of their Social Security number.[1][2]
Contradicts. Vouching is capped at eight registrants per voucher under the rules; the only unlimited vouching is by residential facility employees for residents of their own facility, not by residents of a building generally.[3][4]
Contradicts. Hennepin County's prosecutor said vouching is exceedingly rare, and the men who staged the stunt did not sign the required oaths, so the alleged mass registration did not happen.[2][5]
