The claim is extracted from a passage in which a speaker says Congress delivered farm and producer assistance through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act; the sources do not independently establish that an act by that exact name passed.

What we found

Contradicts. The congress.gov record for H.R.3864, titled the Working Families Tax Cut Act, shows it was introduced on 06/06/2023 and referred to the House Ways and Means Committee, with no further action, so that specific bill did not pass.[3]

Supports. A Foxx Report newsletter dated August 14, 2026 refers to the Working Families Tax Cuts Act 'that we passed last year', which would place passage in 2025.[4]

Context. FactCheck.org and PolitiFact describe the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed July 4, 2025, as the law that cut taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security, but neither source uses the name 'Working Families Tax Cuts Act' or links it to that law.[1][2]

Context. Extraction fidelity: the passage's farm-safety-net and producer-assistance claims are not addressed by the sources; the verdict here concerns only the bare claim that Congress passed an act with this name.[4]
