No authoritative source confirms that Brazilian Supreme Court officers received FBI training in the United States on combating disinformation and hate speech.

What was said

… USAID was funding initiatives, NGOs, and even the court in Brazil, court initiatives to censor conservatives that were promoting quote unquote misinformation or disinformation or hate speech or whatever. So we couldn't speak. And now all the plus all the they train Brazilian Supreme Court officers to know how to literally train. What we found

Context. A low-credibility report says the TSE, Brazil's electoral court, met with the FBI in 2018 on censoring fake news and that FBI agents and DOJ officials took part in TSE sessions and a seminar on fake news and elections.[1]

Context. A partisan piece claims the FBI helped Brazil censor its citizens and that the TSE, part of the Supreme Court, was central to a censorship complex, but it does not describe training Supreme Court officers in the United States.[2]

Context. The Supreme Court's own Program to Fight Disinformation describes training internal teams on disinformation and radicalization, but it does not mention the FBI or any training trip to the United States.[3]

Context. The claimant's passage asserts the trip and FBI training, but the claimant's own words are not evidence, and the sources do not corroborate the specific visit or course.
