No source directly reports how Pro Football Focus graded Missouri and Kansas State in the first two weeks of the 2026 season. The only PFF material is a later Week 9 ranking (Oct 27) that places Missouri 18th, and an Oct 18 article on KU's grades, neither of which covers the claimed window or K-State's early ratings.

What we found

Context. A PFF Week 9 ranking published October 27, 2026 places Missouri 18th and cites its strong defensive and turnover metrics, which is consistent with a favorable PFF view of Missouri but falls well after the claimed first-two-week window.[1]

Context. The only PFF grade coverage for Kansas State is a KU-focused article about Kansas State's win over Kansas, and a preview citing PFF grades for KU players. Neither reports PFF ratings for Missouri or K-State through the first two weeks.[2][3]

Context. The B/R and preseason rankings are not PFF sources and do not report PFF grades, so they cannot corroborate the claim.[4][5]
