The record strongly supports Rogers backing the 2003 Iraq War, but the Libya and Syria elements rest on thin or conflicting evidence: an opinion piece says he backed military action in both, while a 2016 voting-record summary shows a 2011 vote to ban armed forces in Libya without congressional approval and funding for Syrian rebels.

What we found

Contradicts. An issue-tracking page records a June 2011 vote by Rogers to ban armed forces in Libya without congressional approval, which runs against supporting Obama's Libya war.[2]

Supports. Bridge Michigan and an OU Libraries collection of his congressional issues both state that Rogers supported the 2003 Iraq intervention, and Bridge Michigan says he voted for the Iraq War in 2002.[1][3]

Supports. An opinion piece states that in the 2010s Rogers supported military action against Libya and Syria, but it gives no vote or statement to back this up.[4]

Supports. An issue-tracking page lists a 2013 sponsorship of funding and supplying Syrian rebels, which is consistent with support for regime change in Syria though not a direct statement of it.[2]

Context. Bridge Michigan reports that Rogers has since said the Iran war 'needs to end, and end quickly,' which is outside the claim's listed items.[3]
