Contradicts. Royce Williams, age 100, received the Medal of Honor at the February 2026 State of the Union and was described as the oldest person ever to receive it, which makes no 104-year-old recipient before that date.[4][5]
Context. The 104-year-old Army veteran Oscar Primm was honored in a February 2026 Congressional Record statement, which is a tribute and not a Medal of Honor award.[1][2]
Context. Medal of Honor ceremonies in June and August 2026 honored other veterans, and no source reports an October 2026 award to a 104-year-old veteran, so coverage may not yet have caught up with the rally remark.[3][4][6]
