None of the sources reports that China moved a goal from 2049 to 2030 in 2010. The 2049 date is the centenary target tied to Liu Mingfu's 2010 book and later Xi-era rhetoric, and the 2030 date appears only in economists' forecasts of when China might overtake the US economy, not as a Chinese goal.

… They actually believe it's not, or the book Unrestricted Warfare, or the book The Hundred Year Marathon. They've been on a hundred year program to take us down, 1949 to 2049. What we found

Context. A March 2010 ABC News report on Liu Mingfu's book 'China's Dream' describes China's grand goal as becoming the world's No. 1 power, with a roughly 90-year timeline, and does not mention a 2030 target.[3]

Context. Sources place the Chinese centenary target at 2049, including the 2023 congressional testimony that says China plans to displace the US 'by 2049 or sooner' and a 2015 Atlantic piece on Xi's 2049 'dream.' Neither reports a 2010 shift to 2030.[1][2]

Context. A 2010 Korea Times opinion piece says many economists predict China will surpass the US economy by 2030, which is a forecast rather than a government goal set in 2010.[4]

Context. A World Bank report on China 2030 describes China's objective as becoming a high-income society by 2030, which is a development target, not a plan to supplant the US.[5]
