Cash App's own disclosures state that prepaid debit cards are issued by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC, and Sutton's support page says Sutton issues the Cash Card. Sutton also states it does not issue or support the Cash App account itself, which is a Square product, so the claim holds for the cards but not for the account.

This claim is in the show notes, the publisher's own words. It counts against the post, once.

This claim is about the present, so it is judged as of the day it was checked.

What we found

Supports. Cash App's disclosure says 'Prepaid debit cards issued by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC,' matching the claim's wording and the post's sponsor passage.[1]

Supports. Sutton Bank's prepaid card support page states 'Sutton Bank issues the Cash Card' and that the Cash Card balance is loaded from the user's Cash App funds.[2]

Context. Sutton Bank states it does not issue, maintain, or service the Cash App account, which is offered by Square, and that the Cash App account is not held with Sutton. This qualifies the claim but does not reverse that Sutton issues the prepaid cards.[2]
