Supports. A transcript quoted in RedState and Legal Insurrection shows Stelter asking on air, 'Should it be a part of the White House Press Pool?' about Fox News.[1][2]
Supports. Multiple 2026 articles describe the resurfaced clip as a March 2021 CNN segment in which Stelter asked whether President Biden should remove Fox News from the press pool.[3][4][5]
Context. Stelter's own 2026 post acknowledges footage of him floating removing Fox from the press pool under Biden in 2021 and does not dispute it.[6]
