On 2026-08-14 the US was in an ongoing war with Iran: the conflict began with US-Israeli strikes on Feb 28, 2026, an April ceasefire and June MoU were followed by Trump declaring the MoU over on July 8, and both sides were exchanging fire by late August.

… bombing with Iran or a new threat from Iran, and, you know, he's making up all kinds of new intelligence: a big threat, be afraid, be afraid, vote for Satan Yahoo, you know, and Trump's going along with it. Trump endorsed him, so Trump's going along with it, keeping the United States caught in the quagmire of war with Iran, which is causing sky high fuel prices in America and increasing fuel scarcity. It's only gonna get worse from here, folks, only gonna get way worse. So what can you do about it? Well, obviously, I mean, a couple of things. …
The Health Ranger Report · · from the transcriptPost →What we found
Supports. Reuters (Aug 27, 2026) describes six months of war after US and Israeli strikes on Iran, calling it a stalemate with no clear path to ending the conflict.[1]
Supports. JINSA's Aug 27 update says Trump declared the June MoU 'over' on July 8 and that both sides have resumed exchanging fire.[3]
Supports. The Congressional Research Service describes the war as beginning Feb 28, 2026, with a ceasefire and MoU that collapsed amid renewed fighting, and says the two sides were still trading strikes as of September 2026.[2]
Supports. The UK Parliament briefing says that as of late August 2026 there were no US-Iran talks and that the US counter-blockade of Iranian ports remained in place.[4]
Context. The April ceasefire and June MoU were temporary pauses, and the war resumed in July, so the state of affairs on Aug 14 was active conflict rather than peace.[2][3]
Context. Later sources (October–November 2026) describe a continuing war and talk of possible renewed strikes, which is consistent with the claim but is not needed to grade the August date.[5][6]
