The claim's figures of 46 Muslim statewide winners and 181 local winners (about 227 total) are contradicted by the sources. CAIR's tracking reported 38 confirmed Muslim winners out of 76 candidates, later reports cited 41 to 42, and only one statewide winner (Ghazala Hashmi, Virginia lieutenant governor) is named.

What was said

… There are now, I just looked this up, there are now four Muslims in Congress. There's 46 who won. This is in November, last November, 46 Muslims won in statewide office, 181 local elections, including mayors, and this will be, if he pulls it out in November, the first to win a seat in the Senate. It's, it's a big picture effort, a goal to get to infiltrate the government and take over, to conquer. I mean, what else do you call it? …

What we found

Contradicts. CAIR's November 2025 tracking reported 38 confirmed Muslim election winners out of 76 candidates nationwide, a total far below the 227 (46 statewide plus 181 local) in the claim.[5][6]

Contradicts. Later coverage puts the total at 41 to 42 Muslim winners across nine states, including five mayors, four state legislators, two judges, and dozens of local officials, which cannot be reconciled with 181 local winners.[1][2][3]

Contradicts. The sources name only one Muslim statewide winner in 2025, Ghazala Hashmi as Virginia lieutenant governor, not 46.[1][4][6]

Context. The sources give no statewide count and no local-only count, so the 46 and 181 figures are not directly addressed in their own terms. The magnitude gap is still large enough to be decisive, since the claimed total is roughly six times the reported total.[1][3][5]
