The claim concerns late ballots in the November 2026 Los Angeles mayoral runoff, and the sources show that count had not yet begun (AP's page on Nov 1 shows 0% counted).

A guest makes this claim. Listeners heard it, so it counts against the post, and on the guest's own record.

… You got millions of votes in one night. That's nice. You can wrap it up, I got kids. Yeah, people wonder what the word California means in in English. It means election fraud. That's all that is, is election fraud. Look, you see what happened in the mayoral race in LA? Yeah, in LA, I've just transformed all these late ballots that come in were one sided, all for Ramit, and it's just crazy. And so you have that going on. You know, fortunately, Hilton made it into the runoff for the governorship out there, and that's the only thing that could possibly save California. …

What we found

Contradicts. NYT reports that in the June primary, late-arriving ballots were more favorable to Democrats than to Spencer Pratt, and Raman overtook him for second place; this is a lean toward Democrats, not a one-sided result.[2]

Context. AP's live results page (published Nov 1, 2026) shows 0% of votes counted for the Los Angeles mayoral runoff between Karen Bass and Nithya Raman, with polls closing on Nov 3.[1]

Context. Coverage of the June primary describes late-counted mail ballots from Democrats helping Raman surge into the runoff, which is a different race and count from the November runoff the post refers to.[3]

Context. No 2026 source names a candidate 'Ramit'; the only Ramit in the sources is Ramit Varma, who dropped out of the 2022 Los Angeles mayoral race, so the claim's referent is unclear.[4]

Context. Pre-election coverage on Oct 28–30 describes the race as a toss-up with ballots often counted for days after Election Day, so no source yet reports how late November ballots broke.[5][6][7]
