Strict ScrutinySep 15, 2026
The only source that repeats the claim is a Crooked Media podcast page (May 2026) that uses the same wording, so it traces back to the show's own publisher and is not independent corroboration.
A guest makes this claim. Listeners heard it, so it counts against the post, and on the guest's own record.
This claim is about the present, so it is judged as of the day it was checked.

Supports. A Crooked Media episode page (published 2026-05-04) states that the show's production staff is proudly unionized with the Writers Guild of America East, but it is the show's own publisher repeating its claim.[1]
Context. The WGAE's list of unionized nonfiction production companies (published 2026-09-14) does not name Strict Scrutiny or Crooked Media; the list is not presented as exhaustive, so its silence is not a contradiction.[2]
Context. The AFL-CIO profile of the WGAE (published 2026-09-28) describes the union's organizing and contract campaigns but does not mention Strict Scrutiny or Crooked Media.[3]
