The 200,000+ lawyer figure appears only in Harvey's own platform page (March 2026), which is a self-reported company claim. Independent-tier reporting from the same period (CNBC, March 2026) cites a company release saying more than 100,000 lawyers use Harvey, and a July 2026 article cites 142,000 professionals, so the sources conflict on the magnitude.

What we found

Contradicts. CNBC (published 2026-03-25) reports that Harvey's products are used by more than 100,000 lawyers across 1,300 organizations, per a company release, which is about half the claimed figure.[3]

Contradicts. An article published 2026-07-03 attributes to the company a figure of more than 142,000 professionals and 1,500 law firms, a different measure from lawyers that also falls well short of 200,000 lawyers.[4]

Supports. Harvey's own platform page (published 2026-03-13) states that more than 200,000 lawyers around the world use Harvey, matching the claim's figure.[5]

Context. A Microsoft customer story dated 2026-11-02 (after the claim was posted) says 'tens of thousands' of lawyers use Harvey, and a 2025 Aderant release cites 700+ customers, neither of which speaks to the 200,000 figure directly.[1][6]

Context. The 2023 Reuters report about Harvey's early growth does not address current user counts.[2]
