Bulwark TakesSep 15, 2026
The September 25 date and the benefit for Springfield's Haitian community are supported by the Bulwark's own announcement and later coverage, but the sources place the show at the Dayton Masonic Center in Dayton, Ohio, not in Springfield.
A detail. The sources confirm the gist; the verdict faults a detail such as a date, number or wording.
This claim is about the present, so it is judged as of the day it was checked.
What we found
Contradicts. The same announcement places the show at the Dayton Masonic Center and headlines it as 'Bulwark LIVE to Dayton, Ohio', so the venue is in Dayton rather than Springfield.[2]
Contradicts. A Good Good Good report published September 30 says the Bulwark 'traveled to Springfield on September 25' for the live show, which conflicts with the Dayton venue named in the Bulwark's own materials.[3]
Supports. The Bulwark's September 12, 2026 announcement says it is bringing a live show on Friday, September 25 to benefit the Haitian community in Springfield, which matches the claim's date and purpose.[2]
Supports. The Bulwark Daily's later coverage describes the Friday, September 25 event at the Dayton Masonic Center as a benefit for Springfield and calls it the Bulwark's largest live show ever in Dayton.[4]
Context. The PolitiFact item concerns unsubstantiated AI-generated Springfield rumors and does not address the Bulwark event.[1]
