CENTCOM's figure of over 30 IRGC-directed aerial drone attacks in the prior 72 hours is supported by multiple sources, but those sources date the 72-hour window to the period through July 28, when the strikes were announced, not the period preceding July 30 as the claim states. The count and attribution hold; the timeframe is misdated.

Minor detail. The sources confirm the claim; only a minor detail differs, such as a name's spelling, a title's wording or a rounding.

What was said

… Saudi Arabia has joined the American effort, engaging in precision strikes inside Iraq, targeting Iran backed proxy groups. CENTCOM said US. And Saudi fighter aircraft struck multiple terrorist logistics and weapons sites across eastern Iraq in a strong response to over 30 IRGC directed aerial drone attacks in the last 72 hours. Make note of the fact that that was a joint attack with Saudi Arabia, who maybe has had enough of Iran's actions, even when Saudi Arabia has about 15% of their population who are Shia Muslims. The Federal Reserve decided to hold interest rates steady. …

What we found

Contradicts. The sources place the 72-hour window before the July 28 strikes. GlobalSecurity says the count covers 'the 72 hours through 28 July', not the 72 hours preceding July 30 as the claim says.[1][2]

Supports. CENTCOM's statement, carried by BBC, Times of Oman, Kurdistan 24, The Federal and Washington Examiner, reports 'over 30 IRGC-directed aerial drone attacks in the last 72 hours'.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Context. FDD reports the militia attacks on Saudi Arabia ran from July 26 to 28, consistent with a window ending around July 28 rather than July 30.[8]

Context. The claim's July 30 date comes from the post's posting day. The post used 'the last 72 hours' inside a passage about strikes announced July 28, so the post itself does not supply a July 30 window.
