Read literally as a crude oil price per barrel, the claim is contradicted: the Reuters fact-check says crude fell to a low of $3.32 a barrel in April 2020, not $1.85.

What was said

… But the fact is, because of the price of oil, Texas and Oklahoma and North Dakota and all these places were making a fortune. But I never talk about it because I'm not happy until we get the actual price of the oil down to where it was. I had it down to $1.85, as I told you, $95.95, and we'll get it down to that number very quickly. But we will have an Iran with no nuclear weapon and no hope of ever having a nuclear weapon. And other presidents before me should have done this. It waited years and years. Remember when Barack Hussein Obama have you heard of him? Barack Hussein Obama. …

What we found

Contradicts. Reuters reports the price of crude oil cratered to $3.32 a barrel in the week of April 24, 2020, so crude oil never reached $1.85 a barrel under Trump.[1]

Supports. Gasoline fell to a national average of $1.77 a gallon in April 2020, which is below $1.85, so pump prices did reach that level during Trump's first term.[1][4]

Supports. PolitiFact reports the lowest weekly average gasoline price under Trump was $1.87 a gallon in his first term, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, so the $1.85 figure is close to the recorded low.[2]

Context. Trump's own statement that he saw $1.85 gasoline in Iowa is his assertion, not independent evidence, and the post's '$1.85' appears to refer to gasoline rather than crude oil per barrel.[3][5]
