… They pick apart his victory-lap framing that the DOJ is a perfect zero for 23 in voter-data cases, his turnout sleight of hand, and a candid admission that even the government's own analysis shows non-citizen voting almost never happens. Along the way they hit the ERIC-to-CEIR data handoff, the identity-theft "holy trinity," and why NGOs and China get the rolls but the administration cannot. …

Several government-level reviews (Michigan's Secretary of State finding 16 credible cases among 5.7 million votes, and Louisiana's office finding 79 past voters among possible noncitizen registrations over 40 years) show noncitizen voting is extremely rare, and no source contradicts this.

What we found

Supports. Michigan's Secretary of State review found 16 credible cases of noncitizen voting out of 5.7 million votes cast, and a state-government tracking report found noncitizen voting 'in minuscule numbers.'[5]

Supports. Louisiana's Secretary of State office identified up to 390 potential noncitizen registrants since the 1980s, of whom only 79 voted at least once over more than 40 years, per a filing citing that office.[6]

Supports. Reuters, AP, and CNN all report that government prosecutions and analyses show noncitizen voting is exceedingly rare and has not changed any election outcome, with fewer than one case per million voters in federal prosecution data.[1][2][4]

Contradicts. A Census Bureau report identified 24,000 possible noncitizens among 128 million voter records, a government analysis that points to more than a negligible number, though it concerns registration records rather than actual votes.[3]

Context. The DOJ and administration have accused at least 147 people of illegal noncitizen voting since Trump returned to office, most cases unresolved; this is a federal prosecution count, not an analysis of votes cast.[1]
