The claim that Becker has not given a public interview since July 19, 2026 is contradicted by sources published after the post: he was interviewed by Rick Pildes for a podcast (posted Oct 26), and he appeared on CBS's Face the Nation (reported Nov 1).

Our two reads of who says this, and how, disagree, so it counts as the post's own claim.

What was said

… And David Becker talks a little bit about that in that, very vaguely, very dismissive. Oh, it's just silliness from the Trump noise from the Trump administration. Uhm, but it, he had not given public discussion, like any interview I could find. We talked about this last week since July 19th of this year. And this was his kind of first, uhm, Talking about all the things that have happened since July and that I thought was interesting that he was so silent, right, like he's talking about how important it is to combat the narrative warfare, to combat the noise …

What we found

Contradicts. The NYU Democracy Project podcast, posted Oct 26, 2026, is a conversation between David Becker and Rick Pildes, and the Election Law Blog describes Pildes as having interviewed Becker.[5][6]

Contradicts. A CBS News video report published Nov 1, 2026 says Becker told "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" about midterm result timing, a televised interview after July 19.[4][7][8]

Contradicts. Becker gave a press briefing on Oct 22 and was quoted by AP and FactCheck.org on voting-machine vote-flipping claims, and he told Lead Stories that election officials were "100% right" about California envelope punch holes; these show ongoing public statements after July 19.[1][2][3]

Context. A Substack post (unrated) says its search found no Becker interview after Sept 2, 2026 and cites a July 19 Face the Nation appearance as his most recent confirmed one; this is a low-credibility source and is itself contradicted by the later October interviews.[9]
