Multiple reliable sources, including AP, Reuters and BBC, report that Rep. Mike Rogers lunged at or nearly came to blows with Rep. Matt Gaetz during the House speaker vote in January 2023, and that Rogers was physically restrained. The confrontation occurred during the 14th of the 15 ballots, which falls within the 15-round process the claim describes.
